This is a good book for executives WHO are in search of an alternative to deal strategic direction.

There are several examples and case studies to support ideas. There is a brief introduction to TOC basics.

There is a very attractive summary figure of Daily conflicts for a "good" manager. I liked it very much, I found myself in that figure.

I suggest Throughput Accounting books for interested readers since it is not detailed in the concept of this book. This book aims to show you that "there is an alternative, you can touch your future if you wish". This is not a "how to" book. Anyway it describes the milestones of a proven suggested change management, Jonah course,...

I suggest Demand Driven Performance book by Chad&Debra Smith for interested readers. You could find a very well prepared contextual background with scientific history and logical trees and a lot of "how to" clues.
