I love the book.

There is a big research behind it, well documented. There must be a success criterion and stockmarket performance is a reasonable one. There may be other factors such as sustainability, social responsibility, growth rate, ROI,..... but I like the chosen parameter since it isi easy to measure and validate.

I have noticed a relation with Theory of Constraints:

5th level leadership is similar to goal concept of TOC.

Retaining best staff possible is similar to exploiting of TOC in case of floating bottleneck, buffer concept.

Facing with the reality is similar to finding the constraint of TOC.

Focusing on key areas and performing only the actions realated with key areas are similar to subordination of TOC.

Pioneering technology which is matching with key areas is similar to elevating of TOC, close to leap of DDMRP in production&distribution like our company.

I feel great when I could see the web behind the scene, different thinkers, different theories but all are interconnected!
