General guidelines are presented in the book. In my industry, clothing, we do not need so much detailed creative process at all. Usually our designers feel themselves "constrained" if we ask them to follow some basic rules even. Head engineer is still a new concept in Turkey, my brother is an industrail designer and he is aware of technical issues in automotive industry and usually he recieves a "wow!" reaction when he jumpes in like a head engineer. In the same sense our organization structures are heavily based on local territories suh as cutting department, production department, design department,... There usually is no responsible for whole value stream for a certain product family in clothing business.
