understood that it is difficult, time consuming..... need a practical way to survive, August 15, 2014 This review is from: Toyota Culture: The Heart and Soul of the Toyota Way (Paperback) I have read a Turkish translation and personaly met with Michael Hoseus. Very well detailed breakdown of Toyota culture. It also reveals that having such a cultural transition is extremely difficult and time consuming. There are certain points about environmental awareness that I am observing nowadays in Turkey such as solar panels. I believe a company in Turkey may consider this transition only after they have sorted all sales, cash flow, design,.. issues and having a guaranteed future. Our companies are operating in a very volatile economy and must have a survival reflex all the times. Therefore having transitions etc are considered as cosmetical compared to survival.
