Why and how to form a strategy... a real inspiring guide, June 16, 2015 This is an epistemalogical research on strategy. It correlates military (representing looong years experience), hoshin (Japanese way), traditional (old paradigm) and constraint management way (new paradigm). I think having read of Dettmer's other books on Thinking Process is a definite asset before reading this one. All methods have been objectively presented with pros and cons. Resistance to change concept has been elobarated throughly. US Military cases and recent military actions have been chosen as examples and it is a perfect anaolgy for me. I could see that even the truth could be stretched and steel is better than iron since it could be bend without fructure.. I love the method of Crawford Slip over Brainstorming and thanks to Dettmer he has outlined in a very helpful manner.
